HOW TO AUDITION

1. Record yourself performing a 90-second monologue or tell us a 90-second story from your life (true or fictional).
2. Email your audition video, a head shot, and resume to our Stage Manager, Rosemary Jones at rosemary.lisa.jones@gmail.com by 5pm on April 25. Feel free to submit your audition anytime between now and April 25.
3. Complete the online Audition Form here. Please note that your audition will not be considered until you have completed the Audition Form.

Audition to join our Funhouse VI ensemble! Funhouse VI is a collection of irreverent and experimental short plays from writers across the country. Performances are scheduled to take place at Theatre Off Jackson in June 2020.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN / PROJECT NEEDS

Casting a performing ensemble of 8-10 actors.
Our Funhouse VI ensemble will include actors that identify as womxn, people of color, LGBTQ, people with disabilities, and any member of currently or historically marginalized groups.
All ages (18+) and experience levels welcome--no previous acting experience necessary!

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Perform a 90-second monologue or tell us a 90-second story from your life (true or fictional). Please bring a resume and head shot. That's it!

COMPENSATION

$75 if cast

This is a show for mature audiences (18+). Please read the scripts before auditioning.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

Mandatory Dates: May 8 (6-10pm), May 27 (6-10pm), May 28 (6-10pm), June 4 (6-10pm), June 15-June 20 (tech week and performances), June 22 (7-10pm)

Weekly rehearsals for each short play will be scheduled once the show is cast. They will take place in the evenings from May 10-June 12.
